Ariane Chapelle is an award-winning author and teacher in risk management. One day, while finishing a professional textbook, her then-eight-year-old son asked her to write books for children instead. Thus began the adventures of Tempest and Wallace, inspired by the personalities of her children. Ariane is a Belgian and British citizen who writes in English and French.
A book for a cause
Children of Klang Leu - Enfants de Klang Leu: EKL
Ariane dedicates herself to the cause of children and eduction for many years. All proceeds of her debut novel will be donated to the charity Children of Klang Leu (www.enfantsdeklangleu.org), a day-care centre empowering children’s education and providing food, medical and social assistance to vulnerable children and their families in the province of Sihanoukville, in Cambodia.
Each copy sold of Tempest's Secret will feed three children for a day with nutritious breakfast, snack and lunch 🥙🥗🍱, or will provide four days of educational support in Maths, English and Khmer 📚🙏
Ariane se consacre depuis de nombreuses années au soutien de la cause des enfants et de l'éducation. Toutes les recettes de ce premier roman seront reversées à l'association Enfants de Klang Leu (www.enfantsdeklangleu.org), un centre de jour qui apporte éducation, nourriture, soins médicaux et assistance sociale aux enfants vulnérables et à leurs familles dans la province de Sihanoukville, au Cambodge.
